OOC: My understanding was miro was outside when arik stopped him. Not exactly sure how hikaru got out of the tomb if the door had sealed, though. It's nice to see you, arikado ^_^
"You've stolen a very important artifact. Are you prepared to defend it with your life? Or will you, like so many others, meet your end at the hand of the Tomb's Guardian?"
Oh shit! Miroke jumped a little to stop himself from colliding with the man who had adbrubtly appeared before him. His first reaction was to tighten his right hand into a fist and begin to crouch, but he quickly wrestled control over his body from instinct and relaxed a bit more. His hand was still balled tightly. Just what was in the scroll that a living guard would have been stationed here? By the sound of things, the boy had awakened already and followed them outside. Perhaps he had bitten off a little more than he could chew.
The boy had to have done something, because the man before him was now using a fuuinjutsu of some sort to repel what looked like nothing more than shadows. Miroke used this chance to escape, using a combination of substitution and body flicker to disappear while leaving a flash bomb on a very short fuse where he had been standing. The flash bomb wasn't necessary. He just felt like he owed the boy for his troubles. He figured the exits would be among the first places they searched for him, so he spent ten minutes running aimlessly before he finally stopped in a dark alley. He sat on the ground, leaning against the wall and making a hand seal to slow his biology and keep his body from releasing more adrenaline than it already had.
OOC: I just don't feel up to a fight right now. Feel free to pursue, but miro's just gonna flee again if he gets attacked.
EDIT: Wow. Hikaru posted while i was writing... lol Oh well. Seems like they've forgotten him anyways :/

Without much discourse or interaction, the Mist Nin would immediately perform a Shunshin (Body Flicker), leaving a Flash Bomb in his wake. With a smirk, Arikado wave his hand to the left, leaving a streak of shadow in his hand's wake that immediately covered his form a black bubble-type barrier right before the bomb exploded.
Thankfully, it's only a Flash Bomb. However, I've got to make a point to speak to the Elders of Kiragakure about this one. Although he doesn't exactly exemplify our savage, bloodthirsty ways....he's wise enough to know when to get the hell out of dodge. However, even if the Scroll is a fake, bringing it back will earn him some respect from his peers. Let's hope he does some good with it.
Letting Miroke escape, Arikado turned back to the Shadow-wielder, who had sent some clones to perhaps stave off the inevitable end. His Jutsu usage was definitely beyond his Rank-level, but that wasn't uncommon amongst Clans possessing a Bloodline Limit.
But something was strange. Shadow manipulation to this degree was unheard-of. Arikado only had it because of Orochimaru's experiments, and the only other person he'd known with similar powers was a member of a secret group of rogue ninja...what had they been called? The Secret Seven? The Savage Six? Something along those lines.....yet here was this child with powers that clearly surpassed that of the Nara Clan, yet fell short of Arikado's own level of mastery...
An asset.
"Let me make this a little easier on you.." he said, annihilating the clones with a rapid succession of hand movements that caused razor-sharp tendrils of Shadow to slice and dice the clones until there was virtually nothing left.
"If you swear your allegience to Kirigakure, and do so via my Cursed Seal -- a creation of my own making -- I will let you live. You will report for duty immediately, and will undergo whatever training is necessary for you to complete your enrollment in their Shinobi Program. In exchange, as I indicated before, I will let you live."
It was interesting, really...this one had potential to help him spawn his Kagekami Clan. He would need some alterations to make it official, but that was nothing beyond Arikado's range of expertise.
"So...what do you say? Death, and the things you will accomplish being erased from existence, and all you've accomplished to this point being in vain.....or signing up with a Village that will take you, train you, and build you into a weapon that all the world will some day come to fear....or respect, depending on how you'd like to go about it. As long as you're giving due credit to your new village, I'm sure the Elders won't care."
So there it was. His offer. Convert, or Die.
Which would he choose?
[Hikaru has been propositioned to join the Hidden Mist Village. If he refuses, he will likely be wiped out in no time at all. If he accepts, he has a bright future ahead of him....]

Madara's warped to where the large sum of chakra was coming from. His shop was moving slow and he did not care if anyone where to steal it. He was bored, and a ninja battle was what he needed to put a skip in his step. Sitting in a conor of the room he watched Kagekami and Miroke fight. He did not care about anything else. Miroke had been at his little game and was kinda impressive. Kagekami Arikado was a powerful Jounin of the mist that held true to the meaning of Ninja. "Well the children are having a small fued." With a laugh that was sure to take notice he learned back to enjoy the show. His Zetsu would not be here to record the battle until another whole hour. "Why cannot he have space/time ninjutsu like I." Madara grumble as the thought of his shop being looted by moron.
OOC: I am sorry, but I am kinda am finding it hard to understand the surroundings. Also I asumed your fighting over the scroll I mentioned earlier. Haven't been feeling well lately, but I do not want to get to out of touch.

Hikaru opened his mouth to say never. But then, he thought and pondered. This man, this scary guy, was almost offering to teach him. Kirigakure was a feared village. He could learn alot. Perhaps, he could have the strength to create equality for all.
He could go solo. As long as he gave credit to Kirigakure. In reaturn, he would perhaps have to go on a few missions, maybe kill a few people, but he would be trained. He would become a feared ninja, possibly able to face off the Akatsuki. He would have to look into them, see what they were about.
Kirigakure had a new chance for him. Perhaps the people there were more open. More wiling to accept him. Perhaps... He would be rid of his tiresome sister. And the old bat Tsunade. He could find new friends, loves. He could find a new life, and explore the world, searching for equality.
In Konoha, all he faced was prejudice. He would go. And learn. And be feared. Or perhaps spy on Konoha. After all, he hated the racist village.
Hikaru got on one knee. "Not only for my life, but also of my own volition, I come to Kirigakure. Come have me."
Hikaru wanted this. He wanted Kirigakure.

"Very good, very good." Arikado replied. Raising his hand as Hikaru spoke, he weaved some invisible signs in the air. An eerie crimson glow enveloped his hand, and he placed it upon the young Shinobi's face. Although his touch was gentle, it would send an overwhelming, ice-fire sensation through Hikaru's body, but it would subside in only a few seconds.
"You have been Sealed along with your Oath. I'll be honest....so long as you do as Kirigakure demands of you, nobody's going to give a damn what you do with your personal time. To be completely honest, I think there is some potential with Akatsuki. It wouldn't be the first time a Shinobi Village has allied themselves with this group."
Whether or not those were his actual intentions, he wanted to leave that impression, to see how the young man would handle such things. An alliance with the Hidden Mist would mean hardening his heart and toughening his skin....literally AND figuratively. He would have to undergo trials he'd probably never imagined himself being put through.
But, in the end, Arikado intended to teach him some of the Forbidden Jutsu that he swiped from the Nara Clan, and various other Shadow-wielding Clans.....well, before he'd annihilated them, all save the Nara. In them, the greatest degree of potential was left, and there were a few strays of those other Clans left he could recruit, unless they were hell-bent on destroying him.
"Report to the Mizukage's Mansion in two weeks to discuss your future with the Hidden Mist. In the meanwhile, make sure you tie up any loose ends in Konoha that would prevent you from upholding your Oath....these life-term Seals can be a real bi*** if you try and go against them."
And with that, he gave a mild salute, then faded slowly from sight.
* * * *
"All according to plan, eh?"
The Uchiha would sense a familiar presence long before he'd made himself visible. Overlooking that would've made Arikado a very ignorant man indeed, but he'd heard of this particular Shinobi's prowess. Nothing could be taken for granted with such a powerful man.
"I hope you will take this into consideration when contemplating your alliance with the Hidden Mist. After all, I doubt we'd want a misunderstanding between two of the most highly feared factions in the modern Ninja world."
It wasn't a threat. Arikado knew who and what he was dealing with, and a fight would tax Arikado significantly. He preferred to remain on top of his game, which meant keeping his alliances with other powerful Shinobi strong and intact.

Hikaru shook. He had done it. He had cut off his loyalty to Konoha. The village he hated. The village that would hold him down. Hikaru wandered back to the fesitval, dazed. It had really happened. It was true. He was now a soldier of Kirigakure.
He wondered what would happen next.
He knew that he would be assigned a Jounin teacher in a few days. He wondered who it would be. And then, he shook his head. It wouldn't matter.
Hikaru was about to leave when he saw something flash in the ground, and it caught his eye... He saw what it was. It couldn't be possible. THe shark man had taken it, but here it was... The Scroll.
Hikaru grabbed it. He smiled. Chuckling, he opened it up. In return, he was knocked over. It didn't matter. He had gotten the scroll. This was perfect. He could train with the shop owner for a few days, yes, and then leave to train with the shadow man. His life was going well.
He stowed it in his bag. He would give it to the man in the shop. Freedom was already in his grasp. He could raise an army, destroy all the noble clans, rule the world with a gentle fist. He would bring peace, equality. All the things he fought for.
The only things that stood in his way were Konoha, Suna, and any of Konoha's allies. Any village allied to Konoha would have to be wiped out. Yes... Kirigakure wasn't allied, it would be fine. He could destroy Konoha, it's allies, and bring a new age, an age of peace, and non violence, of freedom. The world of Happiness. Yes. It was his drive...
And his shadow minions formed behind him. And though they were beasts, beasts of the shadows, you could tell they were grinning...
Then he saw Hisako. She was the last person he wanted to see now. He would just try to hide....

OOC: I know the scroll means absolutely nothing to anyone, but i'm calling bullshit on hikaru's post. Saying miro dropped it so that he could have it, for whatever reasons, is godmodding. I simply request that he change his post. Maybe he could ambush miro and try to get the thing back, i really don't care so long as he does it fairly.

OOC: I'm not saying Miroke dropped it. Miroke has a scroll. A scroll. not THE scroll. Sorry for making it seem like that. In order for Madara's plot to work, Hikaru still needs to find a real scrool. Miroke found the fake on in the tomb, and somehow in the chaos, the real one was unearthed. Sorry. But Hikaru still needs to present Madara a real scroll. Miroke didn't drop it, there was just another one. Sorry for the confusion.

From her safe place in the wooded area near the entrance of the tomb Hisako tried to keep up with what who's chakra was doing what. There were three chakras there: the boy, the man who followed him, and another one. Hisako did not recognize the other two men's chakra, but to an extent that was to be expected since shinobi from other countries had been invited. Hisako kept a close tab on the Nara boy to be sure that he was not harmed. It seemed that the two strangers were fighting which gave the boy time enough to escape the tomb. From there the man who had pursued him escaped as well. Hisako made a move to go to the boy's side and check in on him to make sure he was safe but stopped. It was good she had for the other stranger turned his attentions on the boy. Shit. From where she was it was hard to hear what was being said. She stared at their mouths, trying in hopes that somehow that would help her understand. The man wasn't attacking the boy, so what could they be talking about? Hisako strained to hear, putting all of her concentration on listening and watching. "If you swear your allegiance to Kirigakure, and do so via my Cursed Seal..." the sounds became muffled. What were they saying?!? "...in exchange...what do you say? Death.....or signing up with a Village that will ....... the Elders won't care." Everything was processing slowly, like her mind could not quite wrap around the idea of what she was hearing. Or...thought she was hearing? This wasn't happening. Not now. Maybe this was a big mistake, some sort of dream or maybe she was trapped in a genjutsu. Hisako shifted her legs, preparing to jump in and defend the genin from this strange man but then the muffled conversation continued. It was the boy's voice, it was strangely calm but in its low tone Hisako could hardly make out any coherent words. The next thing she heard was, "Good." She watched the man place a hand on the boy, exchange more words and then leave. As soon as he was gone and she could see the boy was safe Hissako crawled backwards until she was safely concealed enough to stand and make her way to the road. Her mind was working fast, trying to put everything together that she had just seen and heard. Could she have been mistaken? There was parts of the conversation she had missed completely. And she had only heard half of it. She needed help with this. Surely Neji would help her, but then again he had his own demons to worry about. Maybe she was mistaken. Maybe she was just being paranoid. Her brain was moving through thoughts so fast it could have given her whiplash. Where was Neji, anyways? Behind her Hisako saw Hiroki. She deactivated her byakugan and turned to face him. She might have looked dazed and confused for a moment before she regained control. Her face hardened and she neared him. "Do you care to explain what you are doing all the way out here?" she was surprised at how angry and scared her voice sounded, even to her. Her heart was pounding in her chest. Stop it. Calm down, just calm down. Hisako sighed and let the arms that had been crossed over her chest drop. "I saw you run into the woods and some man follow you. I came, worried you would be injured. You shouldn't be out here in the woods alone, and near the tombs no less." It was best not to question him about anything now, not while she was so unsure about how to proceed. If he did in fact have intentions to leave the village anything she said would mean little to him. Maybe if she was friendly with him he might be more willing to explain what had happened. But for now no one had to know. All of a sudden Hisako became aware of how she mist have looked. Her feet were bare and coated with the dirt from the road and her clothes had become dirty. She forced herself to smile. "I am just glad to see you are safe," she said and looked down at her dirt covered knees. "And I think my mother may kill me for what I've done to this yukata..."
((Blegh...))

Hikaru didn't know what to say. He had just sealed a deal of betrayal, and a member of the very village he was to betray, and one of it's elites in fact, was asking him if he was okay. Well, of course he was. But why did Hikaso have to ask him? Still.... best not raise any suspicions. "Yeah, well, my sister will kill me for what I've done to my robe... and right before preforming a dance in front of Raikage...."
Hikaru chuckled, genuinely, imagine his sister's face. Still. He'd best try not get too close to anyone before he left. it would just be annoying...

Meiji was in a foul temper. Even after using a body flicker to escape the pressing throng when Hisako shot away after the fleeing Hikaru he had taken a short time to find their chakra signatures in his Byakugan. By the time he has found them they were standing together and talking as if nothing were wrong. He appeared in a swirl of leaves between them. His Byakugan still active as he checked on Hisako first," Are you alright, Hisako-chan..." he turned to Hikaru," and you Hikaru-san, you both seem to have had a very poor time lately." He noted dryly as he took in the damaged clothing. His eyes were scanning the perimeter but whoever else had been here had left in a hurry. In the few minutes he had taken to find the pair after dodging through a crowded street of civilians and shinobi, all of whom appeared to be unable to tell him anything about two running people he had resorted to his Buakugan. Why had he not simply scanned from the start? It was a fine line to walk doing such a thing here among fellow shinobi and foreigners who could take it as either a show of superiority or possibly a threatening gesture. After a full few minutes he grew worried enough to disregard protocol and performed a shunshin to escape the crowd.
Now he released his clan's technique and knelt to Hikaru's level," You seem troubled." It wasn't a question. It was a statement, and he gave a softer look as he said," Can we help at all?" He was frustrated yes, but a fellow Konoha ninja seemed to have been in a tough spot, but when he glance at Hisako he turned enough to mouth away from the younger male's eyes: When we finish here. Indicating to her he had understood from her posture she was concerned and soon turned back with concern etched in his face to the Nara boy.

"Yeah, well, my sister will kill me for what I've done to my robe... and right before preforming a dance in front of Raikage...." Hisako noticed that he didn't answer the question but decided to look past that. Pressing the issue would probably not be helpful at this juncture. "Well, we should probably get back to the village and get cleaned up," she said. And that might have been the end of it but then Neji appeared in between the two. Part of her was annoyed that Neji decided to show up after the fact. But being annoyed at him was irrational and Hisako forced herself to ignore it. " Are you alright, Hisako-chan..." "I am fine," she assured him." "...and you Hikaru-san, you both seem to have had a very poor time lately. You seem troubled. Can we help at all?" Neji glanced over at Hisako who found that she was standing there with her arms wrapped around herself like a hug. "When we finish here," Neji's lips moved but he did not speak. She gave him a nod and turned towards the village. "Don't you think we should just get back, Neji? He has a performance to get cleaned up for." Hisako wanted the questioning to be over as much as the boy did.
