((I'm going to make a general post but them post as Hyuuga Hisako))
After the tournament in the Land of Iron had ended there was a festival held to celebrate the shinobi who had participated and to bring in a new season. After some deliberation it was decided that Konoha would host the celebration. In many ways it was the perfect choice. Since it was fall the leaves would be changing colors and would make for a beautiful backdrop for a celebration that would bring shinobi from various villages for a common reason: to celebrate. Much care was put into choosing where in the village the celebration would take place. Many things had to be taken into consideration. Security was a major concern but so was space. Much of Konoha was occupied but buildings or forest. Finding a large open area that was easy to secure was going to be difficult. It was eventually decided that the Fall Festival would take place on the main street just inside the gate. Many unfortunate people were roped into preparing for the festival but as a result the decorations were beautiful. In the center of the festivities was a giant papermache pumpkin that had been made by the Academy students.

It was times like this that Hisako hated her existence. Ever since getting back from a very stressful tournament Hisako had found herself too busy to come down from the levels of stress. She had spent so much of her time at the tournament either worrying about the imprisoned Neji, watching Lady Hinata, or running into various enemy ninja in oddly casual situations. Upon arriving Hisako found that she had been volunteered to help with the preparations of the festival. Her first task was to aid in organizing the academy students to making the giant papermache pumpkin. Then she was one of the worker bees that was sent to clean the festival area, put together the decorations, and setting up the makeshift stage for the taiko drums. For some people keeping busy was a stress management technique but not for Hisako. Hisako's way of dealing with stress was sitting on her bed with her face in the pillow, only occasionally coming up to breathe. After the village was ready for the festival it was time to get herself ready. If left alone the process would not take too long but Himawari, Hisako's mother, took this as a chance for mother-daughter bonding. That was how Hisako found herself presently. "Breathe in, dear," her mother instructed. Hisako sucked in air and then felt her mother tie the obi tightly around her wait, sucking everything in. Before the girl could protest any further her mother tied the obi into a simple bow. "There you are. You look beautiful!" Hisako groaned and looked back at her mother. "You must say that you are my mother..." Neji, please get here soon. I just want to get out of here... Somehow being around a large group of people was not something that Hisako was going to enjoy either. Crowds made her stressed, and that is exactly what she needed. In her green yukata and obi that kept her abdomen restricted made her feel even more on edge, moving around was going to prove difficult. She hoped that Neji would walk slow for her, or better yet, not want to stay long at all. ((sorry guys. I know this is hard to reply to. But I've gotta wait for my date. So...yeah... D:))

Hikaru hated this situation. His Sister and Lady Tsunade had demanded that he wear traditional robes and do a Konoha Nara Shadow dance. He hated this job. True, it was only for the first day of festives he would have to dance. The rest of the time was his own free time. But he still didn't like it. It was a stupid dance really...
He was in the Hyuuga compound with his sister because it was really the only place to practice his dance. No other clan had a house with a stage in it. He practiced for hours on that stage, his sister watching him, making sure he was actually practicing.
He had to wear a long white robe, with flowers painted in black all over. It was hot, itchy, and constraining, and he didn't want to wear it. As he tugged at his collar, his sister slapped his hand. "Hikaru, learn to behave, or you'll never become a Jonin!" Hikaru grunted. Look at you big sis, 20 years old and still Genin. he thought rebelliously.
His sister slapped the back of his head, and lead him through the Hyuuga houses. "Hikaru, it's time you began caring about your image in Konoha. Try making friends within the Noble clans. There are Hyuugas and Akimichis. Why not hang out with them?" Hikaru spat on the ground. "The only Hyuga I respect is Neji, and that's because he can beat the living daylights out of people."
His sister sighed. "Well, go talk to This Neji person then, why don't you?" Hikaru shook his head. "Neji is old. He's 16 sis." He could imagine her rolling her eyes. He knew that he was only 14 himself, but 16 year olds were scary as hell. "Well, his Girlfriend is about your age." Hikaru rolled his eyes. Oh yes, Hisako, the touchy feely Medical Nin. How Neji could be in love with that... thing confused him.

Neji had been walking across the compound when he overheard a pair of voices. Mildly distracted from his path, he decided that he would be investigate further. As he neared the arguing duo he frowned slightly.
"Hikaru, it's time you began caring about your image in Konoha. Try making friends within the Noble clans. There are Hyuugas and Akimichis. Why not hang out with them?"
"The only Hyuga I respect is Neji, and that's because he can beat the living daylights out of people."
"Well, go talk to This Neji person then, why don't you?"
"Neji is old. He's 16 sis."
"Well, his Girlfriend is about your age."
Neji rounded the corner in time to see the young male Nara roll his eyes. Neji cleared his throat softly before stepping directly ahead of the two siblings. He found himself slightly irate over the boy's lack of respect to anything but fighting ability. And his obvious disdain of Hisako made it feel like a slight on them both. Neji's long hair was pulled back in it's customary fashion, but instead he wore a simple black silk kimono, his feet bore black tabi. His black silk pants were loose fitting but still acceptably formal. His village headband still adorned his forehead, but with a black cloth in place of his blue. Overall the look was much darker than he normally wore, but still spoke volumes of his clan's prestige and wealth. He had never been one for formal kimonos as they limited his movements slightly, but had compromised on a looser fit in the traditional style. He stood over the young teen with an impassive face and said softly," I might be a touch more wary of my surroundings. Discussing my mserits and personal life in my home could be considered poor manners, but blatantly disrespecting someone I hold in esteem is rather disgraceful. And what would Shikaku and his wife say, I wonder?" He folded his arms and stated down into the teenager's face.

((Fine. I'll join you Neji. DX))
Hisako stood suddenly. "I'm leaving," she told her parents. Her father rushed into the entry room that Hisako had been waiting for Neji in. "He'll be here. It is impolite for you to..." But Hisako had already slipped on her wooden getta and left the house before he could finish his lecture. It was getting late and the festival had probably already started. Since it was late the air was a little chillier than Hisako might have expected. Her family's house was in one of the far edges of the compound while Lord Hiashi's was more towards the center of the compound. Neji was more likely to be there. As she came into the open area of the compound where the main buildings where she spotted a young man entering the compound that was obviously not part of her clan. This was odd. Seeing as how the compound was not really open to others for the most. Odd. But she had better things to do than to question young boys about why they were in the compound. In the moment she took to stop and stare at the stranger she caught the sound of voices. Maybe it was Neji or someone who would know where he was. She followed the voices and spotted Neji's trademark butt-length hair. He was a good distance away from her so she hurried to ketch up to him. Running in the restrictive yukata and getta was simply out of the question so it was more of a clumbsy shuffle after Neji. Something made Neji pause and change rout to enter one of the buildings. Where are you going? This is when she quieted her shuffle to sneak her way to the entrance of the building that Neji had entered. "I might be a touch more wary of my surroundings. Discussing my merits and personal life in my home could be considered poor manners, but blatantly disrespecting someone I hold in esteem is rather disgraceful. And what would Shikaku and his wife say, I wonder?" How come I have the feeling I missed something? At this time she rounded the corner and took up the place by Neji's side. "How chivalrous of you, Neji," she smirked a little at him. Hisako decided to pretend she knew why he was reprimanding the poor boy. She looked over Neji's intimidating stance and felt her smirk crack into a smile. To her Neji looked more funny than intimidating.

As Hisako spoke the Hyuuga genius simply smiled slightly. He relaxed slightly, acting as if her presence was calming him down. With a sigh he turned to her," Hisako-chan, you look lovely this evening. I apologize for my lateness." He gave her a small wink where Nara couldn't see. "And as you are here, I would be honored to escort you to the festival." He offered her his arm, and with a slight bow he ignored the two Nara siblings as though his girlfriend merely being present rendered them insignificant to him, but he whispered when he lowered his head,"Wait til I tell you what the boy said, I'll be holding you back."

OOC: Sorry for being late. I had homecoming, the football captain got pissed at me, so he made me do 30 laps, and then I was trying to find a girl.... Sigh. Anyways, Nara never actually said anything about hisako.
IC: Hikaru shrugged. Another nagger. Nag, Nag, Nag. That's all anybody seemed to want to do. And now, Master Neji? Well, all adults nag, and Neji was the same.
"Shikaku, eh?" Hikaru waited until Neji put his arm around the Hisako girl. He continued when Neji's back was turned. "That guy is the biggest fool ever. He doesn't even know I exist, he's just too powerful and pompous to even bother talking to me. Heh, it's like all powerful ninja, they only respect the power of others. If I want respect in this village, I need power."
hikaru's sister gasped. "HIKARU, you know that's not true, Shikaku is busy..."
"Training his own son to be a great Jonin, while he could care less about me." Hikaru rolled his eyes.
Wow, this is a bad situation. Hikaru thought. I'd better try to calm him down, before he uses his 64 palms on me. Looking at both Neji and Hisako, Hikaru smiled.
"Alright Master Neji, I understand that I shouldn't talk about people are behind their backs." Hikaru itched his arm.
"And as much as I'd like to hear you talk, I have a dance to preform, so if you excuse me..." He took out two smoke bombs, and detonated them.
In a flash, he was running, enhancing his speed with chakra.
"Hmpf, Master Neji, the Hyuugas, and Akimichis, the Aburames, even the leaders of the normal clans all seem to think they are too powerful to be bothred with. Why should I follow their rules, if they don't even care about my existence?"

Well Tobi was on a quest, the quest of economic chaos! His plan was simple open up a huge shop that would sell it all at unbelievable prices. His items were so cheap that he would not make a profit if he had bought them. Many ninja did not return from the Land of Iron and the nations had turned there back on them. The six great ninja nations decided to ignore there deaths to avoid confrontation with the Samurai nation. Or was it 5 great ninja nations? Whatever the case the ninja were all killed by Madara. Know he was selling their inventory. Of course he patched them up and cleaned them.... kinda. He sold puppets from the land of sand, sword from the land of earth, headbands from all nations, and even Orochimaru sex toys from the Land of Sound. He would in short make one hell of a profit while making the Land of the Leafs economy go into the barrel. If you needed ninja tools their is no better place to turn then, Tobi's Gifts from the Dead!

OOC: I'm assumng it's a shop... so if that's not how it works I'll delete this post. Oh and sorry, I'm posting only one post after my last, but I'm probably am not going to have time to post the whole week, so yeah...
Hikaru was still running, drying off tears he pretended weren't there. Thinking about the injustice of the great clans made him want to puke. It was the whole reason he didn't follow rules. The Rich fat pompous clans... He wished feverently for a.. oh he didn't know, a shop filled with weapons and jutsu scrolls that he could buy in the dozens with only 3,000 yen. But that would never happen. It would require a true econimic idiot to sell tools at such low prices...
Then he tripped. He skidded almost 4 yards, to a complete stop right in front of Tobi's new shop.
"What is...?" Hikaru got up, dusted his pants off, and decided to walk in... In the shop were weapons from the far corners of the ninja world. FOR ROCK BOTTOM PRICES!!! Hikaru excitedly rushed around the shop, eagerly grabbing tools and weapons from the shelves, glad he finally was able to afford so many weapons. Kunai, Shuriken, Swords, Puppets, oh it was all there.
All the weapons he needed for the world's greatest ninja arsenal. There were summoning scrolls to store weapons, and puppets. There were exotic weapons from the farthest areas. "THIS SHOP IS AWESOME!!!" Hikaru yelled. He had found it, the answer to his prayers. He would have all the weapons he could need to become a great Shinobi. With the weapons and jutsu scrolls in this shop, he would be unstoppable.
He ran to the counter, his arms stuffed with hidden jutsu technique scrolls, exotic kunai, weapon summoning scrolls, army ration pills, bombs, all the works! He shuffled impatiently, waiting for the owner. If he was correct, his purchases would only cost about 50 Ryo. He tried to take his wallet out, but his arms were filled with shitloads of tools.
Yes, look at all the Jutsu I can learn. I'll make Jonin in no time.

((It's ok, Nara-kid. And I didn't mean to make you cry!!! D: ))
Hisako found Neji's action puzzling and she couldn't quite hide it from her expression. Why was he acting so affectionate? This was very much unlike him. He gave her a wink and it was then that she smiled and got all flushed. "Oh," she smiled. "Thank you for saying that. You look very nice too." Hisako took Neji's offered arm and bowed with him. "It was nice meeting you, Hikaru," she said kindly. "Wait til I tell you what the boy said, I'll be holding you back." came Neji's whisper. Shortly after they had turned to leave a small smoke bomb went off and the young boy was gone. "It seems you upset him," Hisako whispered to her so-called boyfriend.
Once they had walked down the path a ways Hisako began to look at Neji questioningly. "What happened in there?" she asked. "Why were they in our clan's compound? I thought only Hyuuga were allowed here..." Hisako kept them walking towards the festival where things were well underway.

Ayame smiled as she saw all the decorations of the festival. Everything looked so beautiful. She loved any day that allowed her to dress up, but festival days were her absolute favorite. "Ni-san" she said, smiling up at Kotetsu. "Can I look around for a while? I promise I wont cause any trouble." Her smile grew as her brother gave a small nod. "Alright" Kotetsu said, rubbing the back of his head in defeat. "Go have fun." Ayame hugged her brother and ran off in a random direction. She pulled out her purse and began to count her money. You could always find cute little novelty items at festivals like these and she was sure to get at least one. As she walked, she glanced at several little shops. None of them really caught her eye. That is until she saw a familiar face behind an armful of weapons. "Hikaru" she asked, approaching the young Nara boy. "What are you doing with all that stuff?" She couldnt help but giggle as she noticed him struggling.

Hikaru had trouble answering because the had a Kunai gripped in his mouth. "Ay, Oun Uh Sdore". He shook his head, and spa the Kunai on the floor. "I found a store with all the weapons I'll never need as my whole life as a ninja. The owner of this store must have, I dunno, killed lots of ninja to get this many tools. They didn't buy it, that's for sure." Hikaru struggled to walk to the counter.
"And, uh..." He then found a wheelbarrow in the corner for 3 yen. He grabbed it and stuffed his merchandise in there. "The stuff's hella cheap. all the stuff in this wheelbarrow is worth on 500 ryo. Here are some pretty cool jutsu scrolls, not to mention headbands from all over the world!!!"
OOC: I'm so bored, I'm gonna make a list of weapons and scrolls he's holding. 3 puppet scrolls, the ant, the crow, and the fox, though he won't be able to use them. 1 scroll to learn chakra threads so he can use the puppets. a shadow shuriken a greatsword (but it's really weak, so It'll probably just be an antique) some senbons a bunch of bombs a whole lot of exotic kunai knives, that only really look cool. an iron fan a gourd of sand nanchuks 1 scroll to learn Shadow clone jutsu 1 scroll to learn hiding with camoflouge technique 1 scroll to learn a bunch of Taijutsu techniques and a bunch more jutsu scrolls he will never be able to use for at least a year. then again, he's got determination like Naruto, so it may be possible... need i go on? oh and one headband from one of each of the great villages, so he can use them for spy missions.

Ayame looked at all the things he had picked out. She laughed at his excitement. "I guess that stuff is pretty useful once you know how to use it" Ayame said shrugging. "Let's hope you have the patience." She looked back at the store, taking in all the weapons. They really were from all over. "A lot of this stuff is pretty useful" she admitted. "But I dont think I'd like to meet the guy who killed all the people to get all this. Are you really gonna carry all that stuff around during the whole festival?" Ayame looked at Hikaru, then to the filled wheelbarrow.

((OOC- My shop seems busy so I will be replying out of turn to make it more realistic. I am not sure if it would be best to make this a different thread, but for now I will just keep and eye on it and circle customers in and out.))
Madara using his space/time ninjutsu warped behind the counter with a box saying forbidden jutsu. These jutsu were techniques he had seen in the tourny and copied them down. They were the best of the best and most expensive. Not like that is saying much. Catching eye of the two little kids he new he had a young Nara in his presence. He apparently did not share the same wits. Having all those items would just become a burden and he would probably not master the use of them all. A great sword?!?! He though to himself. This kid was truly something else. Under normal curcimstances he would manipulate this boy in buying more and more, but if he wanted to stay long enough to put these shops out of business he would need to play nice. "My my young Nara, is it Nara?" "Why in the world do you have all those scrolls, and weapons." "I plan to be around for a while and with the profit I am making I will be." "I have a solution for I see you are a ninja filled with potential." Madara said, as he thought the opposite. He had to laugh at this kids mentality as he proves that kids in fact really do get more stupid through time.
He took three unique sword from the village hidden in the grass. They were light and at fair size. They had just the right curve to remain straight, but able to apply a boomerang effect. "These little blades are called throwing blades." "They can apply a boomerang effect and are at the length or a short sword with half the weight." "They sacrifice nothing in terms of durability as well." "Most ninja who have these take three and have them placed on the same shoulder as their throwing hand." Pulling out four scrolls on how to use them. "These scrolls will allow you to master them." "This is all you need, and remember that it is not the weapon but the user."

Hikaru was so asorbed in his wheelbarrow, he failed to notice Madara. "Hm... Your right Ayame. I won't master these anytime soon. But my reasoning is if I buy them now, then nobody can buy them in the future, so eventually, I'll be able to learn the jutsus anyway." "Hm.., oh what sir?" He turned to see Madara. He was listening, but he decided to pretend to be a simpleton. It would help him out in a bargin if the shop keeper thought he was a fool.
"Uhh... no, I'm fine" Hikaru didn't want the boomerangs. "Uhh.... uh..." Hikaru pretended to fall asleep. Lying on the floor snoring, Hikaur formulated a way to make the prices cheaper. Oh jeez, let's see.... First, I'll pretend to not know the prices, but then... oh jeez, this is harder than shogi...

Post by Melody Kari Starlight on Oct 18, 2011 3:47:38 GMT -5
Melody had been walking calmly through Konoha. She had been here before many times but had always been hidden by staying in the forest. But now she was walking the streets. Her ears and tail once again hidden just like they were back in the land of iorn. As she walks she is in a form of deep thought and is not looking where she is going. In not looking where she is going she bumps into someone that person being one of the ninja. He helped her up and Melody said a quinck sorry. The ninja only waved her off saying something that Melody didn't catch.
Melody was wearing a orange kinomo, it had dark orange and light pale orange patches, and she also wore over that a light orange cloak with a hood that she kept up to hide her ears. The belt was green and tied into a bow at the back but the cloak hide the belt unless you look at the front then would see a dark green obi blet. It was given to her by Lord Yue who was working for Lord Orochimaru. Not that Melody knew much she only knew that she had to follow orders by both of them.
But as it was she had a whole weeks leave. This time she was not on a mission but was on a weeks leave meaning she could use this time as she saw fit. As long as she didn't show herself to be a threat and didn't show that she was a sound a nin then she would be fine. Melody didn't have her headband so most would think she was not a ninja. Most so far believed that she was a non ninja and was just here for the festival. Her eyes that held a sliver cat like eyes roamed over the stalls as she stood calmly almost child like as she had never seen so many stalls and had never been to anything like this before. She smiled as she watched others round her. Her tail stuck out a little bit not that she knew or was aware.

Neji gave the girl a small look,"They were there to simply prepare for the festival. Our clan grounds are th only ones with a sizable area to practice. It isn't common but occasionally someone will ask to use the space." Finished explaining he turned her towards the village proper and sighed slightly,"I hope that when I am assigned a team that they are a bit better balanced than that kid. He shows signs of megalomania, and seems to value nothing but power." He gave Hisako a gentle smile," But you do look nice, I was pleasantly surprised when you showed up." As he spoke they left the clan compound and cane into the actual village.
The decorations and stalls were all up and running as well as a few small shops. He paused and considered where would be best for a date. Dear Hisako deserved to have a good time after the insanity of the past few weeks and barring obnoxious little punks he would do his best to ensure that happened.

"They were there to simply prepare for the festival. Our clan grounds are the only ones with a sizable area to practice. It isn't common but occasionally someone will ask to use the space." "Oh. I did not know that, but I am sure that you could understand my confusion in seeing all these people on our compound." Neji took the lead to the village which was just as well for Hisako, it involved less thinking. The path to the village was a pretty one even in the dimming light when things were hard to see. Hisako admired the colors of the leaves, the smell of autumn, and the cool air. For the first time in many weeks she was beginning to relax. Perhaps some time at the festival would not be such a bad thing after all. She was glad that her parents had not made her preform koto at the festival. Although she was good at playing the stringed instrument learning a song and then playing it in front of a bunch of people would have killed her. Her parents probably figured she'd want to spend some time with Neji and let her off the hook. Time with Neji was far better than time with the koto. "I hope that when I am assigned a team that they are a bit better balanced than that kid. He shows signs of megalomania, and seems to value nothing but power." Neji paused and was smiling at her genuinely, "but you do look nice, I was pleasantly surprised when you showed up." Without Hisako's consent her cheeks flushed bright pink. "...Thanks," she said quickly but quickly changed the subject as they entered the village and festival area. "I did not know you were going to receive a team so soon. When will you find out who your team is?"

Ayame laughed softly and rolled her eyes. "That's kind of selfish reasoning" she said more to herself than to Hikaru. She jumped slightly as the shopkeeper appeared and took a small step back. As she turned her attention back to Hikaru, she was surprised to see him on the floor. "You're kidding me right" Ayame muttered to herself as he appeared to be asleep. "You're so embarrassing, I swear."

Madara was getting amused by this boys pathetic attempts to pull one over him. He was trying to manipulate him and only if he knew that he was up against the master of manipulation. "Oh my it seems he has fallen asleep." "Such a shame I was hoping he would be up to retrieve the scroll of the fourth hokage buried deep inside the old tomb." "Oh, well I guess some other ninja will come along and become number one." Madara was of course screwing with him. All that was under their is zombie like corpses that even a Jounin would not dare to screw with all alone. This kid would obviously get himself kid and even if he did get the scroll it did not contain the Jutsu. "Very well is there anything I can get you miss?" He spoke in a polite tone.
