" You are his teacher. He looks up to you...Maybe you could talk him out of it. If the hokage gets involved that means that things could get out of hand fast. Why can't we just have this stay between the three of us?"
Neji shook his head tiredly,"For you we can try to talk to him." When did I start letting her away my decisions? I suppose it's because we are friends now. Neji thought it through logically. As the kid's jonin sensei he had the right to inquire about him at his residence. Shikamaru and the Nara clan lived slightly away from the district, so he knew that he would need leave soon to catch the boy. "Are you going to come with me Hisako? We will need to address this situation quickly if you heard accurately to help him." Neji sipped his tea and stared down at Neji cat. He knew that the furrball was loyal if nothing else. With a slight smirk he leaned closer to Hisako,"I would really like it if you joined me, I could use a friend when handling this."

"For you we can try to talk to him." "Thank you," she said. "I do not doubt our Hokage's wisdom or intentions but I think that the subject of defection is sensitive and I would hate to see the boy traumatized..." Hisako took a sip of her tea in an attempt to calm herself down. She began to relax. She wouldn't have to make a report to the Hokage, Neji would sit the boy down and have a heart to heart with him and everything would be just fine. "Are you going to come with me Hisako? We will need to address this situation quickly if you heard accurately to help him." Alas, she was not quite off the hook yet. She knew full well why she had to be involved in speaking to the boy. She was the one who had heard him, after all. His, accuser of sorts. Logically it made sense for her to go but at the same time her mind began to race, trying to think of a way to get out of it. "I would really like it if you joined me, I could use a friend when handling this," he leaned in closer to her. She froze up initially as he neared her. Slowly she relaxed and nodded. "I'll come," she answered. "When do you want to leave?"
While Neji-cat might have normally been upset about Neji-human being close to his mistress he was rather preoccupied. He was watching the shadows with his narrow eyes. His ears went back and he watched the wall and nearby window with interest.

(can i post from another location now? I will just do that...) Hikaru was in his house, his sister cooking a packet of Ramen for his lunch. He was sweaty and exhausted because he had just finished training alone. He sat on his bed, thinking about his teammates. Hagane and Neji. He had gained... a respect of sorts for Master Neji since he had proved elites were not pompous in their last training session. He didn't know Master Neji well.... yet he already looke dup to him, respected him like a father. And Hagane... Hikaru couldn't explain his feelings.
He was looking out the window, when Tosen flew through the window. Oh no, Tosen? Something must be wrong Hikaru though Tosen shifted back into humanoid form. "Master, Two Hyuugas have caught on to us. Your mentor as the ugly one. We must leave now. I'm afraid they are going to tell the Hokage."
Hikaru simply nodded. "Tosen, recall all of my minions. We need to leave." Tosen let out a high pitched wail, higher that detectable by the human ear, and instantly, all the shadow minions crept back to Hikaru's house.
Hikaru knew he was in deep waters. He must leave now. If he didn't, liberty would never be granted. The Slaves would stay enslaved. He must leave. He... he had to cause a diversion. Instantly, he knew what to do.
In Konoha police station (can I rp npc's, just to keep the story going? If not, I'll delete this part later) The sleepy guards didn't notice as Hikaru's minions opened the cages. Instantly, dozens of rouge shinoibi, traitors, phsycopaths, and worse were let loose. The floor of the Police stations was stained with the blood of good police shinobi.
Hikaru left the house in a hurry. He was about to flick a match at the house, when he realized he couldn't do it. He couldn't kill his sister. The one person, as naggy as she was, who cared for him. He leapt from rooftop to rooftop. He hoped the disturbance would be enough.
Hikaru had gone pas the line. He was an enemy of Konoha. But before he left, he would go back to that little shop from the festival. Oh yes. He would indeed.

Neji looked at her in gratitude and was about to stand to leave when he noticed that the sky had suddenly changed. He frowned and looked at the feline, and saw that the cat had acted strangely and been watching the shadows. Wait, watching the shadows?! "Hisako! I fear we took too long, we must leave now!" He didn't shout, but the force of his voice showed he meant what he said as he stood quickly, not bothering to explain he gestured to her cat, who was watching the shadows with his ears flat to his skull and his eyes almost glowing. He spoke in an urgent tone,"We must get to the Nara compound, quickly!"
He swept from the room quickly and moved as quickly as he possibly could in his attempt to keep up with the feeling of mixed dread and disappointment he was feeling. Was he a bad teacher? Less than a week and his team was already falling to treason. He felt shame wash over him but brushed his feelings aside. he was now a shinobi protecting his home and friends from a possible traitor. He was not thrilled at the prospect, but Hikaru had passed the point repentance. He was actively trying to leave the village that he had sworn to protect as a ninja. Neji hoped Hisako would keep up with him and he activated his Byakugan to keep track of her while looking for his soon to be former student. He saw something else in his scan and swore mentally: the convicts in the konoha prison were released. He saw them slaughtering their way out of the building. He called to his companion,"Hisako, we need to split up! The prison has been compromised, I believe that we need to gather the jonin and prepare to deal this new situation. Please report that to the Hokage! I will deal with Hikaru."

((I'm making these assumptions based off of these two informational sites: i25.photobucket.com/albums/c76/illeagle2k/Wallpapers/1280-by-1024-544524-20080411034423.jpg and naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Konoha_Strict_Correctional_Facility )) While she was still unsure about how the confrontation would go Hisako felt that as long as Neji was there he would be able to keep things under control. She gently set her now empty cup of tea on the tray and picked it up. As she stood she felt a something nagging at the pit of her stomach. But before she could shrug it off or mention it Neji shot to his feet, his eyes on the window. She followed his line of sight and saw the sky was dark and the feeling in her stomach persisted. "Hisako! I fear we took too long, we must leave now!" What's happening? Why would the boy leave? "We must get to the Nara compound, quickly!""Right," she nodded and literally dropped the tray and followed him out the door. Hisako watched the sky, rather than Neji as they ran. As a result she fell behind momentarily only to ketch up again. She saw that he had already activated his byakugan, so followed suit. With her new vision Hisako could almost see to the Nara clan's compound but not quite. "Hisako, we need to split up! The prison has been compromised, I believe that we need to gather the jonin and prepare to deal this new situation. Please report that to the Hokage! I will deal with Hikaru." "The prison has been what?!?" she stopped running and watched Neji go with wide eyes. How could he see that far? His ability with their clan's bloodline was remarkable to say the least. "Neji, please don't lea-" but he had already disappeared. For a moment she stood there, staring at the place he had once been but then started to move again. The Hokage, she had to tell the Hokage...the thing she had tried so hard to avoid was now the only option. Once more she wove through people in the crowd and made her way towards the Hokage's palace. ((...we don't have a hokage do we?...XD))

Meanwhile, Hikaru was making his way through the crowds, trying to get as far as he could before the massacure began. He needed to find the shop keeper (Madara, I'm talking about you btw). He had to talk to him before leaving. Hikaru began to move at a run as he started hearing screams in the distance. Blood was being spilt. And as much as he hated Konoha, he couldn't bear to think of the innocent people being killed. He covered his ears and ran. The Ends justified the means. So long as he brought about freedom... a few Knoha deaths here or there would not matter.
Hikaru brust into the shop, expecting to find the shopkeeper.

Having spotted the fleeting glimpse of the flighty Nara Neji altered his course while thinking, The merchant sector? What is he doing... Why the merchant area... Is his contact from Kiri a clerk or storeowner? He alipped from rooftop to rooftop, his speed was greater than that of the genin and he made quick tome catching up as he watched the boy run up to one of the short term businesses that had opened during the festival. All the while in hos head a little play through of the events surrpunding homself and the boy. His rudeness when using the compound. His quick flight from confrontation. His stubbornness and seeming dialike of the clans. His apathy as a member of the team. His hotheaded antics and solo attitude. He could believe suddenly that the childlike front was just to hide the fact he was not loyal to his home, his family, his team, or his leader. The Hokage would brand him a traitor. A nukenin. Hunted for the rest of his days. Neji groubd his teeth and thought fiercely, Not my student!

Hikaru stumbled into the shop, only to find it vacant of the Shopkeeper. Rather a fat old man sat behind a counter, sipping a cup of tea and playing shogi with a cat, who seemed to be winning. "Hello Young-un, what brings you to Gato's antiques and art stor-" Hikaru in rage tossed a stone sculpture at the man's head, knocking him unconcious. Hikaru was tempted to stab the man, but decided it wouldn't be worth his time. He ran out the door.
He had to leave. The Shopkeepr wasn't here now. He knew that. He needed to leave Konoha. The Screams in the distance had faded and now were replaced by sounds of battle, the clashing of cold steel, the explosions of powerful jutsu.
Hikaru winced as from the battle, a Konoha Chunin was flung onto the street right in front of him. The jutsu used on him had to be very powerful. It was a wonder the crimminals didn't escape without his aid.
He gingerly stepped over the body, and began running.
Hikaru didn't want to be caught leaving. He ran down the street. He would leave Konoha. Now.
(OOC: Neji, ever though we never really posted about this, I always had Hikaru first disrespect Neji, and then would grow to respect him as a father. About now, Hikaru should be acting more respectful to Neji, during their training sessions together. No longer arrogant or anything. But, I don't know.)

((Go ahead and skip me for now. I'll probably pop back in in a post or two and just pretend I went and spoke to the hokage. Unless someone has another suggestion.))
