Obviously, this site isn't going to go very far.
The admin is closed off to suggestions and/or is taking so long to process them that you're more likely to get a guy with OP abilities destroying all of the IC area in one jutsu than to actually improve on the quality of the site.
It's nothing against the members of the site, well most of you anyway, but I'd much rather be doing something productive on another site than waste time hoping for something that wont happen because the staff isn't doing anything. (Orochimaru and Kabuto are fine with doing their jobs, but they don't go beyond the call of their position. This may or may not be because Itachi limits their powers)
I wish you guys good luck on trying to pick up more members or even getting anything on this site past a few randomly scattered threads. But if anyone wishes to contact me that I care to talk to, you have my emails and/or are already on a site I know you on. So keep in touch. To those I respect and care for, I hope I helped you guys take a step toward productivity and active progression. For those who I don't, well, I hope you grow up and change your narrow-minded opinion on change.
Thanks for the experience, Senken

Hold on a second.
We are currently in the process of changing things around for the better. What suddenly caused this change of heart?

The split second you become lily-livered and bolt for the hills, something great happens.
I have been loyal to this site during activity, inactivity, noobishness and greatness. Why? Because every time I resisted the urge to quit, something awesome happened. Either my character encountered a PHENOMENAL Storyline plot, or something happened Event-wise that allowed my RPCs to get in some face time with the others.
You would do well to learn from that. I'm not the brightest bulb in the patch, so I know this shouldn't be news to anyone.

It's Itachi. He's worse than a a president. He doesn't even come up with ideas or anything. You guys are what makes the site. But the staff can't do anything about it for one reason or another. I would love to join another site with Ranmyaku, Kakashi, Kazuki, Jigsaw and all of those other people that I have met here and do not mind speaking in civil tongue with, but the administrator of this site sits around and pretty much just says "Okay" to everything that happens here. There's little to no moderation (outside of locking threads like advertisement which usually would help expand the member count on this site as most sites require their ad be on this site in order to advertise on theirs), everything is pretty much open for people to act as they wish, and other than this village leader thing, I don't think anything has improved since this site started.
Then again, I'm not sure I want to know what the site must have been like if this is the improved version.
Now, all I'm asking is that the site's skin and layout actually be updated so that it doesn't look like crap, new staff (with good judgment) are put on to moderate profiles and act productively, and that Itachi trusts them enough to give them the power to actually improve the site rather than only the ability to moderate threads. It seems like allot compared to what the guy does now, but that's because all he does is show up and write up threads consisting of vulgar humor and the passing "okays" that he gives to anyone who asks him a question.
If my account gets banned or deleted, you know why.
But otherwise, I'm just taking a leave of absence, indefinitely. So I could be back in a week, a month, or never... But that really depends on how the site progresses.

You don't seem to get it at all. Frankly, I'm tired of people expecting me to have some sort of Godly watch over this place at all times, and you just so happened to have caught me at a bad time. First off, I don't know who you think you are. I've always wondered this. I came onto the forum, looked at a random thread and saw some guy who hadn't even been here a month dictating to other members as to how they should do things. You speak as if you've been here since the beginning, as if you know everything there is to know about myself, this forum, its members and how much effort I put in. In actuality, you're just some randomer who took his own importance to an extreme. I hate elitism in the site these days; frankly, it's a concept we were built on. If a noob steps out of line, he gets the tongue lashing. As such, I wasn't going to give you flack for being the new guy talking down to everyone, even though I should have. The truth is, whether you're new or not, you're a member of this forum and you deserve some respect from the other members by default. However, that is as far as this courtesy extends; by default. By default, you deserve respect. You deserve to be listened to. This courtesy which is extended to new members can be extended upon or lost depending on how they act. Presenting reasonable, well thought out ideas with the benefit of the forum in mind will likely increase your standing among the members. Presenting yourself as some sort of authority figure, imposing the weight of your own opinion and being, quite frankly, domineering, however, will only serve to make others dislike you. Cases in point: Alright. Seeing as activity seems to be the biggest problem on this site, there's no way we'd be able to go through with a full event to select village leaders. SO, let's go with the person(s) with the best judgment. Everyone, appoint someone whom you think to have the most trustworthy and non-bias opinion toward choosing a village leader. Advanced knowledge of the Naruto series would be necessary. We'll do this through nomination and vote. You may nominate two people, neither of those being yourself. We'll end up with three people who will be our "site council" in this particular event. We'll then give a ten day period for members to make a character (free of the 50 post requirement rule) of Jounin rank that can be entered into this decision. Those persons will then start a thread, everyone will post up their characters [with a link to profile, jutsu and weaponry] if they think that they are suitable for the position, and then those person will elect the five Kage through majority rule. The only reason I'm not saying that we should do this through majority rule of democratic vote (being that of all active members of this site), is because allot of that vote would be based off of OOC knowledge of the player. Though that is important for choosing a village leader, it's not the only thing that matters. If you don't think that particular members of this site will decide based on their liking of a person, in electing people to play village leaders, you're in denial. The idea is that we just choose three people whom can quickly discuss the matter and select the village leaders in a non-bias and reformed matter. These people would need to have an advanced knowledge of the series, and as such would probably be rather refined role players as well. If the staff doesn't like the idea, they can always state otherwise. But as of right now, I'd prefer if we just got things done as quickly as possible. And I don't exactly agree with your opinions either, Kakashi. Being new to the site doesn't mean they have bad opinions. It just means you are less likely to know them well. In fact, just because someone's a veteran doesn't mean they have the best opinion. I'm giving those two my nominations because I know them to be decisive and, in most cases, non-bias. They also have had made intelligent comments on other sites and on this one. At least, that's from what I've seen. Maybe I should hold my nominations until I've read more of everyone's Rp threads and profiles. That way I can get a good idea of who there is available to nominate. I advise everyone else to do the same, if they have not already done so. [in that, I edited my last post to remove my nominations] What we need are people who understand the series of Naruto and whom show promise in their ability to role play. This should be held above all other things. It's not a hard concept to understand that people whom role play well usually have a good opinion of who else does well ICly. Getting back to the characters that would later be up for the position of Kage, they have to pass registration before being offered up for the position. We don't just have people post up profiles without them being approved first. They need to be passed by staff and approved. So that last statement was slightly unnecessary, if not redundant. Though, with the current profiles that have been passed through registry, I feel that this site is very lax on it's requirements. I'd point out some examples, but I'd rather not hurt anyone's feelings. ::facepalm:: Please, from this point on... make sure you KNOW what you are voting for BEFORE you vote. I didn't think that anyone, in this case, would reflect the act of an average American citizen on voting. Yes, that was a crack at my own people. BELIEVE IT!We slow things down, we risk losing members and interest in the idea. I'm going to ask that we continue on at the rate we're going. I'll extend the vote out until Thursday so that people have a chance to resubmit their votes. This is NOT a vote on who we want to be the Kage. THIS IS A VOTE ON WHO WE WANT TO BE ON COUNCIL.Whomever gets on the council will help to decide who does become the village leaders for each of the villages. So it IS important that we figure this out. This is done simply to quicken the discussion that is bound to happen and give the decision to people whom the site finds to be the most responsible. IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR VOTE BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T ACTUALLY READ THE THREAD ALL THE WAY THROUGH, JUST STATE AS SUCH IN THE BEGINNING OF THE POST AND NAME THE PEOPLE (two at max) TO WHOM YOU WISH TO GIVE YOUR VOTES TO. That way I can go back through and recount the votes without having to look back through the entire thread every time someone wants to change their vote. It's actually difficult to believe how pretentious you are for someone who, at this point, had been here for literally a month. This, I was a huge fan of by the way: Alright. Brad Darkblade was a funny REALLY BAD joke. But could we get one of the staff members to change the village's name back to Kumogakure no Sato? I just think this might be one of those things we should get out of the way. You weren't even AROUND for Brad Darkblade. It happened MONTHS before you joined. You're frankly unbelievable. You make such ridiculously demanding posts about things which you know nothing, and then when you don't get your way, you go through the drama of starting an "I'm leaving" bitch thread. Here's a tip that no one is going to disagree with: When you start a thread complaining and saying you're leaving, no matter what your point is, you look like a tool. A guy by the name of Retsu did the same, and that was a bad call. Before he did that, he had some legitimate complaints and expressed them well; he deserved to be listened to. When he decided to start bitching like someone posting a YouTube comment, however, he invalidated his own points. I'm not without praise; you tried to do something to help the site, you made some good suggestions and for a little while you legitimately did some good. You just tried for too much. You wanted too much change too quickly. The honest truth is, there is no one person who can fix a forum. You can't join, do everything you can to fix it and have everything become fine and dandy; that's not how forums work, I'm afraid. I can attest to that. You're free to interpret this post as advice, or a personal attack, or whatever. I'm not sure what it is. What I do know is, it's not intended to be disrespectful, and you should probably interpret it as my attempt at having a point-to-point discussion, rather than the usual bitchfest an internet argument becomes. That's all I have to say to you at the moment. When I started writing this, I hadn't intended to explain my absence, but why stop here? To bridge on from what I was saying earlier, no one person can fix a forum. I know, to you, it must seem as if I just created this site, got tired of it and stopped visiting. That's not true. Am I lazy? Yes. Am I at fault? At the very least partially. However, the truth is that, at some points, I actually did do a lot of work. I'm a terrible admin now, no denial from me, but as many old-timers will attest to, I put much effort into this site. I tried time and time again. I ran the Chuunin exams multiple times, I sat down with multiple oldies on multiple occassions, rewrote the rules, the templates, the very foundations of the site each time. I did everything I could to bolster activity and morale. I posted threads, I tried to get RP's going, I resconstructed the staff, I tried to make it easier to apply for a character. I really did try. There came a point, however, when I lost all of my patience. This point came when people bitched me out over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over to run the Chuunin exams again. Over and over. Do you know what I did? I took a three-day weekend (yes, including a Monday I had off) which I should have spent with my girlfriend, studying and enjoying my life, I got some of the guys together and I planned for the exams. I let everyone know when they'd be, and I arranged everything. What happened? No one signed up. All the fucking ingrates that took my head off with complete pablum to get the exams running, didn't take five seconds out of their time to sign up, when they had five days to do it. Only a small handful of the reliable members even bothered. After this, I decided to leave it to the members. If I see some progress, some real progress, then I'll return. I'll come back with renewed faith and my previous vigor and I'll give it my best. Until that day comes, I'll continue carrying the memories of my constant and continuous failed attempts to spur some activity and save this place. I tried to hand some power over to another member. I made him an admin after we discussed it with several other members. As soon as he was an admin, he did literally nothing and never posted again. His fault? No. Life just kicked him in the balls. This doesn't change the fact that he did nothing, however. It was disheartening... to everyone. This post is a lot longer than it should have been, but I felt like I owed it to you guys after my extended absence. To round off this exercise in pointless banter, here's the best piece of advice I can give to all of you: You want some activity? Fucking post. Instead of discussing how to change the site amongst yourseves, drop a post in the spam section just to say hi. Instead of having a conversation on MSN, have one on the forums with a few people you're friendly with. Let others join in and see where it leads. Post your most random thoughts just for the hell of it. Start a debate in General Discussion. Post an interesting article. Post something funny. It doesn't matter; just post something. The truth is that in order to mend activity, we must first mend the community. If your only course of action is to sit around discussing how bad the site has become, and even discuss how to fix it, the site will fail. We need some normality. For the forum to prosper, we don't need pre-determined ideas telling us how to draw in new members. We need a group of people who consider eachother friends and who will roleplay with eachother because of this friendship. When new members join, they need to be encouraged to post in the out-of-character areas so that they can get to know the other members. THAT is a community. THAT is a role-playing forum. THAT is how to maintain activity. That, folks, is how to bring about some prosperity to these tired and withered lands. Well, that's about it for me. Again, sorry for the long (and ranty) post. I'll be around, I always am, but you won't see me posting very often. If you follow the advice I've laid out here, maybe we can make some change for the better. Maybe we'll be a part of creating the prosperity and, most importantly, the community I spoke of. PS: Just as a closing note, stop treating Arikado as the devil, people. He's paid his dues and is a long-standing contributor to the site who does a lot more than most of you. Even if you don't like him, give him some credit. PSS: For most men, one testicle is larger than the other one. For me, each testicle is larger than the other one.

I mean seriously, if you want it to be better do something about it. Hell in all truths, the members are even more important than the staff. the staff make the forum, but the members are what draws people in and continue the forum. With out the members we'd have not post. Cause seriously, i have been admin of forums myself, we Admins, mods, and g-mods have very little time to post with, what, keeping the forum intact. This thread was pure bull shit. Stop saying you're leaving, cause we really don't wanna here it. If you're gonna leave do it, don't warn people, because the forum isn't going to be done the way you or anyone wants just because one fucking person said they would leave if it isn't. What the fuck is that shit? I am behind itachi fully. So Stop bitching at him. ITACHI I am sorry you have been bitched at about this shit. I know how hard it is to run a forum. Dude I am behind you 100%.

This isn't going to be a straight-forward post for argument. As you said somewhere in the middle, this is a post for sensible points and making discussion. So, I'm posting the same. If you don't want to read it, don't. But Itachi, I suggest that you do. You don't seem to get it at all. Frankly, I'm tired of people expecting me to have some sort of Godly watch over this place at all times, and you just so happened to have caught me at a bad time. I wouldn't care. I honestly wouldn't care if you didn't visit the site. What I do care about, is that there isn't a staff with the power to do anything but post in threads. So try trusting in your staff more and give them the powers they need to be able to run the site correctly. I began asking questions, took a poll and made a step toward doing something. Did it get done, pretty much. So you're complaining because I happened to do something right? I hate elitism in the site these days; frankly, it's a concept we were built on. If a noob steps out of line, he gets the tongue lashing. As such, I wasn't going to give you flack for being the new guy talking down to everyone, even though I should have. I talk down to everyone. That's who I am. I tend to apologize for it later, if I was at fault, because I don't usually realize when I'm doing it. I know I'm doing it now, but I think it's necessary. Don't get angry, get sensible. However, I will disagree with me lashing my tongue at everyone. I obviously didn't lash at people who were just unknowing. I didn't lash at people for their lack of knowledge. Some people lashed at me when I said something that was wrong, and I thanked them for calling me on it. But the only reason I think Elitism is good, is because without it, you end up getting members who utilize skills that can make them move 1,000,000 miles an hour and can control time. Elitism is controlling the space from having Noobish profiles and Noobish people from getting away with doing things that they shouldn't be allowed to do. If there are any members like that on this forum, I apologize in advance. But, your skills are OP and should not be accepted. I'm not saying Bitch them out for being wrong, just tell them when they have done something wrong and keep them from making those mistakes. I made a suggestion, people went with it because it was obviously a good idea. We got some people elected who now have the potential to decide who will become the next village leaders, as long as the opinion is backed by staff approval. You might argue that this could have been done by the staff themselves, but I honestly don't think you would get as good of results as you are likely to get with this nomination system that I set up while I was here. Everyone was complaining about it. It still hadn't been fixed. It still HASN'T been fixed. I think my complaint was pretty appropriate, considering the situation. You're frankly unbelievable. You make such ridiculously demanding posts about things which you know nothing, and then when you don't get your way, you go through the drama of starting an "I'm leaving" bitch thread. Then leave it at that. Regardless of what happens now, I'm gone. But please, at least leave this post up for people to see. It wont matter what their opinion of me is, but it'll bring up good points that you SHOULD change the systems. And the fact that you're making excuses that I'm the reasoning as to why you are unwilling to make changes, just makes me feel like you're punishing your MEMBERS for what someone else did. Go you? Here's a tip that no one is going to disagree with: When you start a thread complaining and saying you're leaving, no matter what your point is, you look like a tool. A guy by the name of Retsu did the same, and that was a bad call. Before he did that, he had some legitimate complaints and expressed them well; he deserved to be listened to. When he decided to start bitching like someone posting a YouTube comment, however, he invalidated his own points. I'm not saying this isn't immature. I never stated that I thought this was a dignified way to leave this site. I'm just saying that I am. There are better sites out there. But I am trying to leave a point for YOU Itachi. FOR YOU. Because YOU need to get your shit together and do something for your members. Like you say MULTIPLE times throughout this thread, your members have stuck around through a bunch of bullshit, and you have yet to reward them by doing anything in recent months. I don't doubt that you tried back whenever it was that you last tried, but you do have members still here, and you should try to at least keep them by doing the things that most members agree should be done. So don't do this for me, because for all I think, you should have banned me as soon as you entered this thread. But at least listen to the words that are stated on this page. Thank you for the praise. I do appreciate it. I would normally take it as that, but I have seen forums fix themselves very quickly. In most cases, they get the three best people they can to FIX the forum and then put it in maintenance mode for a few short hours until it is fixed. I think it's both. But it is meant to be disrespectful. I think you may have changed tones partway through, but it was definitely disrespectful at the beginning. When I started writing this, I hadn't intended to explain my absence, but why stop here? Alright... To bridge on from what I was saying earlier, no one person can fix a forum. I know, to you, it must seem as if I just created this site, got tired of it and stopped visiting. That's not true. I never thought you stopped visiting. I heard you took a few days for yourself. As you should every now and then to keep from going insane. All RPers should take breaks every now and then. But you have to admit, I've made some good points. It doesn't matter about what's happened in the past, what I'm talking about is what is currently a problem. Am I lazy? Yes. Am I at fault? At the very least partially. However, the truth is that, at some points, I actually did do a lot of work. I'm a terrible admin now, no denial from me, but as many old-timers will attest to, I put much effort into this site. And as a fellow site-administrator, I give you your credit. Ive seen many sites fall in flames before even getting started. But you now have an active membership, and people willing to do the work for you. Everyone's been nominating Kazuki and Kakashi to be staff without their asking. I think that's a good sign that you should probably give them the powers necessary to do what is necessary to bring the site back into a state where it is friendly, well moderated and looks good as well. Again, I am sorry that you tried. But it's irrelevant to the current situation. All you're saying is that you got tired of trying. And now that the site is showing activity and the members are moving for a change, you're being too lazy to do the three or four things that they have asked for. No disrespect meant at this point in the post, but you said it yourself. You are being lazy. Obviously I wasn't there during that time. I wasn't part of that member group So if taking your frustration out on me is what you need to do, do it. But I think you should get over it. You act like the site is dead. There's obviously members still active. And if there is a member-base, that's a kindling to the fire. A small burning flame that can progress. But if you just leave it to the wind, it will not build. So you had a member fail to perform their duties as a staff member. That DOES NOT mean that everyone else will. And rather than trying to just promote ONE staff this time, try promoting a few. That way your odds are better off to having them being active and actually doing something. This post is a lot longer than it should have been, but I felt like I owed it to you guys after my extended absence. No, please, feel free. Go on. The activity seems to be alright. But you're not allowing for the community to build. In order to do that, you have to do TWO THINGS. ONLY TWO THINGS. A) As I have said, time and time again, get a few staff members who are competent (this is not saying anything against Orochimaru and Kabuto, I'm just saying don't pick the first boy in the bunch who wants to be on staff), and give them admin-powers. Kazuki, Rama and Kakashi are all good examples of members you would want to have on your staff. Give them (most) all of the powers (and Orochimaru and Kabuto if you feel like you can trust them enough to handle the powers responsibly and do something with them), and if they don't do anything, kick 'em out. That's it. B) When they have done a little to improve the site, and the site is looking better, START ADVERTISING. But in order to do this, you also should ALLOW FOR ADVERTISING. You don't have to allow for it, but most sites require that they be able to post on yours as a GUEST in order to let your post remain on theirs. I'd also ask you to follow my advice Itachi. That's all I have left to say. Adios. Farewell. Adieu. Thankyou, and goodnight. I'll return in a while to check up on things. Presuming I remember to do so.

I'm pretty sure Itachi wasn't criticizing you for trying to help the site. He was criticizing the way you were doing it and your own harsh words toward him without knowing the whole story. Please don't act like the victim here and please don't beat your points to death.

Gotta agree with Itachi for the most part here. I respect what you are trying to do, Tetsuga, but you're going way too fast. A lot of us had to earn respect over a long period of time to show how much we truly cared for the site. I didn't even start getting political until I had been on the site for a descent amount of time, but even then, I didn't go beyond making simple suggestions and having intellectual discussions with Itachi and others. I never tried to force anything.

When you're new, and you want to instill positive change, hook up with an oldbie and work some things out. If it requires the approval or involvement of a Higher-Up, then the two of you should present your case.
I learned long ago, if nobody's getting things done, *YOU* get things done. You don't do it while making snide remarks towards the Admin/Staff....you just DO it. If the Staff feel that members are actually doing more than just blowing around hot air, they'll make sure the process goes along as smoothly as possible.
All will be well so long as we work together, not AGAINSt one another.

I know I am not the most active, nor the most social of the members of this site but I would to try to make a point if I may. I have been here what, a year? I don't often post OOC, I don't really feel like I have anything constructive to offer. What I have is a desire to be part of a good group of rp'ers who don't take themselves too seriously. Tetsuga, I admire your drive but I think you are falling into the taking this too seriously category. Itachi, I like and respect you though we haven't spoken much and I understand your point. So please everyone bare with me while I struggle through this.
I didn't feel very welcome here when I first came to NE. I still don't honestly. I feel like there are the ones who were here since the beginning and then there's everyone else. I am not creative, and I am not very social so thus I feel like I am ignored for the most part in my threads. I understand that my skill level is subpar but I continue anyway. I worry sometimes that the forum members will one day just stop acknowledging my posts and threads and I'll just fade out of the picture. That's fine by me, but I want to tell you guys this first. Itachi is right. The community needs to be recovered first. We are all hung up on the site and its status but are not involved with each other as friends or even as members of the same community. Side note to Arikado - I may not always agree with you, but I don't bash you. I apologize for being a little disrespectful IC in our last thread. Kazuki has taken time and is working me over MSN. He listened to my complaints and now he and I are swapping ideas and I consider him a friend.
I hope that I don't sound pathetic or whatnot but I want to get to be friends with others like Kakashi and some of the other members of this site who I look up to as a fellow member. Itachi, Kakashi, Arikado, Tobi, and many others whom I have read their threads. Its really amazing some of the talent on here and I want to learn from and be on good terms with everyone. I am not going to say more, as I am sure someone is going to roast the living hell outta me for this post, so here I end with a simple "Thanks for reading this"

Neji, don't worry about it, man. You're very much entitled to your opinion and won't get flamed just for stating it. I consider you a contributing member to the forum who has stuck with us, and you should be treated as such. I'm not sure you read my post at all, Tatsuga... I wouldn't care. I honestly wouldn't care if you didn't visit the site. What I do care about, is that there isn't a staff with the power to do anything but post in threads. So try trusting in your staff more and give them the powers they need to be able to run the site correctly. It's as if you ignored everything I said. I am not here to give you what you want. I have finite patience and I won't try over and over to get a forum to work. I began asking questions, took a poll and made a step toward doing something. Did it get done, pretty much. So you're complaining because I happened to do something right? What did you do right? What has changed? I wasn't complaining because of what you were doing, I was complaining about how you were doing it. I talk down to everyone. That's who I am. I tend to apologize for it later, if I was at fault, because I don't usually realize when I'm doing it. I know I'm doing it now, but I think it's necessary. Don't get angry, get sensible. I don't see why you expect anyone to take you seriously if you act like a tool. That is not a problem on this forum currently. Something you would realize if you had actually been here for a decent amount of time. I'm not saying Bitch them out for being wrong, just tell them when they have done something wrong and keep them from making those mistakes. I am not interested in what you think about how I act towards new members. And the fact that you're making excuses that I'm the reasoning as to why you are unwilling to make changes, just makes me feel like you're punishing your MEMBERS for what someone else did. Go you? Uh... what? When did I say or imply that you, whoever you are, had any impact on my decision to not make changes? I stated my reasons clearly. It's as if you don't listen at all and reply only to points you wish I had made. I'm not saying this isn't immature. I never stated that I thought this was a dignified way to leave this site. I'm just saying that I am. There are better sites out there. But I am trying to leave a point for YOU Itachi. FOR YOU. Because YOU need to get your shit together and do something for your members. So don't do this for me, because for all I think, you should have banned me as soon as you entered this thread. But at least listen to the words that are stated on this page. I don't care what you think, but I sure as hell don't ban people for stating their opinions. If your stance as admin is to ban people who speak out against you, why should we listen to you at all? Thank you for the praise. I do appreciate it. I would normally take it as that, but I have seen forums fix themselves very quickly. In most cases, they get the three best people they can to FIX the forum and then put it in maintenance mode for a few short hours until it is fixed. So you had a member fail to perform their duties as a staff member. That DOES NOT mean that everyone else will. And rather than trying to just promote ONE staff this time, try promoting a few. That way your odds are better off to having them being active and actually doing something. Again, don't even listen. The activity seems to be alright. Itachi, I know that you might not think the world of me, but I have stuck with this site since my first character's ' Troves' and 'Kiue Jin' a couple of years ago. Despite the lack of activity here, I have never thought about leaving it. This is, possible, the only site that doesn't demand things like 'Jutsu points' or some other garbage and doesn't completely suck because of it. You trusted us with creative license, and because of that this site has truly been blessed with some of the greatest rp talent I have ever been honored to meet. (It's also been cursed with quite a few morons, but thankfully they tend to choke and die as quickly as they came.)
For the most part, I have to agree with you Itachi. It will take a bit of time and effort to get this site going again with real members, and it's a job bigger then one or two people. I know we've all taken some time in the past to insult Itachi's laziness, but we haven't been much better. We've been lurking around, waiting for someone else to get to work. We'll people, if we want to change anything, we're ALL going to have to get our hands dirty. It's time we all stopped looking at other people for answers and started to do the test ourselves.
Sure, we may fail if we try, but odds are this is all failer is going to be for us anyway. What have we got to lose other then a little time and energy?

I don't even want to join in on the feuding going on in this thread, because people who post "leaving threads" simply leave a bad impression on me. So, anything I try to add will eventually evolve to bashing. That's just the way I am, so I'll refrain.
However, I'm here as always (even if it is pretty inactive at this point). I'm not going to sit here and make excuses on my inactivity so I'll just be blunt. Lifes a bitch...blah..blah...blah. That's what most people would say and yes it's true. But simply, my interests have faded considerably. Honestly, I haven't read or watched an episode of Naruto in well over a year. I don't care about that though, I'm here simply for the great community this site has been and still is. I've been here for three years and seen this thing through the good and the bad, the vets and the noobs. I've been lazy lately, but I'll be willing to pitch into whatever progress you guys are willing to put forth. I don't have an MSN due to computer issues so it will be hard to keep in touch with you Itachi, but I'm in.
